Grief Share is a Reach Group that meets periodically for those who have lost a loved one (either recently or years ago). These groups are held periodically throughout the year. You should monitor the website calendar or weekly Sunday bulletin for information on when the next group will begin. Typically, this Reach Group meets after church with lunch being served. These groups last thirteen weeks and follow the Grief Share curriculum.
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
Most people quickly feel comfortable and accepted in their Grief Share Reach Group. They discover there are others who have the same kind of feelings they do and who understand the hurt they feel and the loss they have experienced.
The leadership team for Grief Share consists of people who understand how you feel and have a real concern for individuals experiencing the grief of loss. Our Grief Share Reach Group leaders have experienced significant losses in their lives and are examples of the healing and restoration that can occur as an outgrowth of deep grief.
You are welcome to begin attending the Grief Share Reach Group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, we encourage you to try our Grief Share Reach Group.
